Why logo design changes from one industry to the next
A good logo is a good logo, but where it has to work is completely different from trade to trade. A roofer's name is read off a scaffold banner from a moving car. A restaurant's logo shrinks into a circle the size of a fingernail on a delivery app. A podcast lives or dies as a thumbnail in a grid of hundreds. An estate agent's mark has to look trustworthy on a For Sale board and on a listing at the same time. Each page above covers those details for one industry: the places the logo will actually be seen, the clichés every competitor in that trade has already used, and the versions you will need.
What stays the same for every business
Whatever the industry, every logo we make is drawn from scratch in our Dublin studio rather than adapted from a template. You see concepts, tell us what is working and what is not, and we refine from there. At the end you own the finished artwork outright, with vector files that any signwriter, embroiderer or web developer can use, plus colour, single colour and reversed versions.
If your trade is not listed, that is not a problem. The same thinking applies, and our main logo design in Ireland page explains how a project runs. You can also browse logo design samples from businesses across the country, or tell us about your business for a price.
