Website Design Ireland
Website design for Irish businesses from a Dublin design studio. Fast, mobile friendly sites built around your brand, with ecommerce, booking and enquiry forms.
Éire Graphic Design is a Dublin design studio that designs and builds websites for businesses across Ireland. We started as a branding and graphic design studio, and that is still how we approach a website: as the place where your brand has to work hardest, in front of the most people, on the smallest screens.
A website for a small business has a simple job. Somebody searches, lands on your site, understands within a few seconds what you do and whether you do it near them, and gets in touch. Everything we design is aimed at that, rather than at looking impressive in a portfolio.
Website design built around your brand
Most websites go wrong in the gap between the brand and the build. The logo is right, but the colours drift, the fonts change, and the photos look like they belong to three different companies. Because we design brand identities as well as websites, the site comes out of the same system as your logo, stationery and signage. If you are starting from scratch, we can design the logo and the website together.
We design every page for a phone first, because that is where most of your visitors are, then make sure it works just as well on a laptop. Buttons are big enough to press, phone numbers can be tapped, and the most important information sits where people look first.
Fast, secure and found on Google
A slow website loses people before it loads. We keep pages light, compress images properly and avoid the plugins and page builders that weigh a small site down. The site you are reading now was designed and built by our studio, and it loads in a fraction of a second.
Every site goes live on secure hosting with an SSL certificate, a cookie and privacy setup that respects GDPR, and spam protection on every form. On the search side, we set proper page titles and descriptions, clear headings, structured data for your business, a sitemap and Google Search Console, so Google can find and understand the site from the day it launches.
Websites for small businesses, shops and services
A brochure website for a trade or professional service usually needs a handful of well written pages: what you do, where you work, examples of your work, reviews and a way to get in touch. We help you plan those pages before anything is designed, so each one has a reason to exist.
For businesses that sell online, we build ecommerce websites with secure payments, product pages written and structured to be found in search, shipping and stock settings, and the emails customers expect after they order. For clinics, salons, studios and anyone who takes appointments, we can add online booking so customers book at midnight without anybody answering the phone.
Redesigning an existing website
If your website is a few years old, it may still work but look its age, load slowly on a phone or be impossible for you to edit. A website redesign can keep what is working, including the pages that already rank on Google, and replace what is not. We map your old pages to the new ones and set up redirects, so the move does not cost you the search traffic you already have.
How a website project runs
It starts with a call about your business, your customers and what the website has to do. We plan the pages and the content, then design the home page and one inner page so you can see the look before the whole site is built. Once that is agreed, we build the rest on a private preview link, you review it on your own phone and laptop, and we launch when you are happy.
After launch you get a walkthrough of how to update the site yourself, and we stay available for changes. You can pay for the website up front or spread the cost monthly.
Choosing a website design company in Ireland
If you are comparing website design companies in Ireland, look at sites they have built for businesses like yours, test them on your own phone, and ask who will be doing the work and who looks after the site after launch. We are a small studio, so you deal directly with the person designing and building your website from the first call to the final handover.
Tell us what your business does and what you need the website to do, and we will come back with a fixed price and a timeline.
Frequently asked questions
Do you design and build the website, or just design it?
Both. We design the site, build it, set up the domain, hosting and SSL certificate, and launch it. You get one studio responsible for the whole job rather than a designer handing files to a separate developer.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes. Every site is built so you can change text, swap photos and add news or products yourself, and we show you how before handover. If you would rather not, we can make updates for you.
Do you build ecommerce websites?
Yes. We build online shops with secure card payments, stock and shipping settings, order emails and the product pages set up so they can be found on Google. If you already sell in person, we can connect the shop to the way you work now.
How much does website design cost in Ireland?
It depends on the number of pages, whether you need a shop or booking system, and how much content we are creating. Every website is quoted per project with a fixed price before work starts, and you can pay up front or spread the cost monthly.
How long does it take to build a website?
A small business website usually takes three to five weeks from the first call, most of which depends on how quickly the text and photos come together. Ecommerce sites and larger builds take longer, and we agree the schedule at the start.
Will my website show up on Google?
Every site is built with the basics Google needs: fast loading, proper page titles and descriptions, clean headings, structured data, a sitemap and Search Console set up at launch. Ranking for competitive searches also takes good content over time, and we will tell you honestly what that involves.
Do you work with businesses outside Dublin?
Yes. We design websites for businesses all over Ireland. Most projects run by phone, email and video call, with the site shared on a preview link as it comes together.
