Founded in 1996 in Baltimore, Under Armor is the youngest of the great American sports brands. The sportswear of this company is one of the best-sellers in the world, and they have expanded their catalogue to add sports shoes which is their most successful product today.

Reebok was founded in 1958 in Bolton, England. Since its purchase in 2005, Reebok has been a subsidiary brand of Adidas. They specialize in sport’s shoes, clothing and accessories, including soaps and deodorants.

The German sports brand Puma is another of the best-selling in the world. Puma is known for its sports footwear more than other types of products, although they also sell sportswear and accessories such as sunglasses or backpacks. It is associated with the world of fashion and design more than the rest of the sports brands on this list.

The best-selling of all the Japanese sports brands are Asics, which specializes in sport’s shoes, equipment and accessories for many different sports. Asics was founded in 1949 and is based in the city of Kobe. Its products are sold in more than 100 countries.

North Face is the last Brand on our list and has become one of the top sports brands in the world. Established in 1966, this brand specialises in equipment for mountaineering or hiking, among other sports activities that require warm clothing and highly specialized footwear or equipment such as sleeping bags and tents.

Their motto is "Never stop exploring" and they have established in countries outside the US and rake in massive revenue yearly.
